November with Jayne Alder

In this episode midwife Jayne Alder shares with us her wisdom from over 25 years of midwifery practice. We discuss the three most important topics and common challenges in the postpartum period: getting adequate sleep, breastfeeding successfully and avoiding the “super-mum” pitfall. She explains why support in this sensitive period is so vital and how pregnant mothers can prepare for life after birth with a newborn baby. As an intuitive midwife Jayne is also passionate about facilitating a mother's connection with her unborn baby in pregnancy to optimise her birthing and mothering experience
