Nathalie Solis PerézNathalie Solis is a birth doula and cultural anthropologist with a German- Guatemalan background. She has worked in Berlin, Germany for the past 5 years accompanying births at home, at birth centres and at hospitals. She has worked with over 50 families from various cultural backgrounds accompanying their journeys before, during and after birth over a period of up to twelve months. November with Jayne AlderIn this episode midwife Jayne Alder shares with us her wisdom from over 25 years of midwifery practice. We discuss the three most important topics and common challenges in the postpartum period: getting adequate sleep, breastfeeding successfully and avoiding the “super-mum” pitfall. She explains why support in this sensitive period is so vital and how pregnant mothers can prepare for life after birth with a newborn baby. As an intuitive midwife Jayne is also passionate about facilitating a mother's connection with her unborn baby in pregnancy to optimise her birthing and mothering experience

Jayne Alder has been a nurse for 40 years and a midwife and doula for over 25 years. She offers intuitive midwifery care in Byron Bay and the Gold Coast and also works with clients interstate through virtual care. Jayne helps women connect with their baby during pregnancy, prepares new families for life with a newborn and assists couples with their birthing plan. In the postpartum period she assists families through postnatal support and 4th trimester services and supports families in calling in their village. Jayne is a mother of 4 daughters and grandmother to 3 grandsons.
